These terms apply to the Nimbus Weather Alerts SMS program ("Program") operated by Nimbus Watch LLC. By opting in, you agree to these terms.

Program description

The Program sends automated text messages about lightning detection, storm activity, and operational safety alerts for workers, outdoor teams, and facilities assigned to a job site monitored by Nimbus Watch. Messages are transactional safety notifications related to your site assignment.

How you opt in

When your employer or site administrator assigns you to a monitored job site in the Nimbus Watch dashboard, you will receive an initial SMS from Nimbus Watch asking you to confirm enrollment. You are enrolled in the Program only after you reply YES to that confirmation message. Your phone number and consent record are stored solely to deliver weather safety alerts for your assigned site.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Nimbus does not charge a separate fee for SMS beyond what your carrier bills for standard text messaging.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on weather conditions, your location and settings, and active alerts. You may receive multiple messages during severe weather or none when conditions are calm.

Opt-out and help

You can cancel SMS messages from this Program at any time. Reply STOP to opt out. You will receive a confirmation message when you unsubscribe.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Availability may vary by carrier and device.
